Why do I charge what I charge?

I've had more than a few people tell me that charging the rates that I do, may signal poor quality and will drive clients away. Know now, that while I am not the most experienced photographer, quality is the most important thing when it comes to your photos. They are an investment you have made to freeze a moment in time.  Photography is not my main source of income, it is a "side job" for me, something I do because I enjoy it. Therefore, I don't need to charge large amounts for my services.  That in no way means I skimp on quality. I am choosing to save up to invest in quality, top-of-the-line professional-grade equipment and am continually educating myself on the best methods of photography. 

I know what it is to come from a household that struggles to make ends meet and if I can make it just a little bit easier for you to afford those keepsakes that you want, that is more valuable to me than all the money in the world. I guarantee that you will be happy with your photos and if you are not I will do whatever it takes to make it right.
